Our Story
Designed by David Pfaff, Opened in 1994
Opened in 1994, Quail Ridge was designed by acclaimed golf course architect David Pfaff, who spent 15 years working alongside legendary designer Pete Dye. Pfaff transformed a remarkable piece of property into one of the Memphis area’s most distinctive golf destinations, creating a layout that rewards strategy, precision, and shot-making.
An Exciting New Era
Today, Quail Ridge is entering an exciting new era. Through significant investments in the golf course, facilities, and technology, we are enhancing every aspect of the player experience while preserving the character and challenge that golfers have come to love. As part of this commitment, new putting greens were installed in 2026, further elevating course conditions and playability while ensuring an exceptional experience for years to come.
The Course
Not Your Typical Memphis Terrain
Unlike the typically flat terrain found throughout much of the Memphis region, Quail Ridge features dramatic elevation changes, gently rolling hills, and tree-lined fairways that provide both scenic beauty and a memorable golfing challenge. Seven picturesque lakes and a winding creek come into play throughout the course, while meticulously maintained Bermuda fairways create outstanding playing conditions throughout the season.
